March is National Craft Month
Share your craft with your kids!
As carpenters, your everyday work is hands on and requires physical labor. It it never too early to share these important life skills with your offspring or family members. Hands on learning is very important for children to help them with problem solving, patients, following directions and fine motor skills. Teaching your child how to build something is also a great opportunity to bond with them and show them your skills. You never know, maybe one day your child will be apart of the Brotherhood too!
Build a Birdhouse
I’m sure you all know how to build a birdhouse… but your kids don’t! A bird house is an easy and fun thing for kids to build. They get to learn from you while also helping feed the birds. If you do not have the supplies at home, below are a few websites with birdhouse building kits and directions.
