An executive physical can help identify medical problems before they become serious. Many conditions — such as diabetes, heart disease, and some cancers — have a high rate of successful treatment when detected early.

The basic exam is five (5) hours, appointments start at 8am and 8:30am. Your exam can be tailored to your individual needs and any additional testing is either added to your day or is arranged according to your schedule.

Appointment availability may vary, however the program generally schedules within 2-4 weeks.

Once you have scheduled your appointment you will receive an email confirmation that will describe your exam, a medical questionnaire to complete and information on wearing comfortable clothing, fasting after midnight and directions for parking and arrival to the suite. Parking is free (be sure to bring your parking ticket into the Health Center with you on arrival) and lunch is provided.

Yes, upon request we do send a copy of your records to your primary care physician. The Executive Health Program does not replace your Primary MD and does not provide ongoing services. The goal of the program is to provide a comprehensive screening with recommendations made based on results to promote a healthy lifestyle. The program is a complement to any ongoing care provided by your Primary MD.

For a Carpenters’ Physical, no, per the agreement with the Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Health Fund, once active covered participant status is verified, you will be ready to get your physical at no charge.

For Urgent Care services or any follow-up care, yes.  It will be charged to Independence Administrators and you would be responsible for the coinsurance.
