ORTHODONTIA HAS IT’S OWN ALLOWANCE NOW!

  • Post category:Health

Effective May 1, 2019, Orthodontia Benefits will no longer be included in the dental annual family allowance. It will now be considered a separate benefit and have its own $3,200 lifetime maximum.

WHAT IS THE ORTHODONTIA BENEFIT?

  • Eligible Participants have a lifetime allowance of $3,200. This will no longer count against the $2,000 dental family allowance as of May 1, 2019.
  • There is no plan year for Orthodontia Benefits, and the Fund will now pay providers directly. No need to pay out-of-pocket first.
  • If you use a Plan Participating orthodontist, they must accept these allowances as payment in full and you will have no out-of-pocket for covered services up to your individual lifetime maximum of $3,200.
